Payment Terms:
All orders will be shipped prepaid through credit card, or on pre-approved open account.
Sales Tax:
In states where we are required to collect sales tax, and when we do NOT have a valid resale certificate on file for the entity at the point of delivery, we will charge sales tax for all merchandise shipped..
Return Goods:
· All merchandise that is to be returned for credit must have a return goods authorization number that will be provided by SUPERIOR’’s customer service department prior to shipment.
· All return items must be returned in new & resalable condition.
· RGA # written on the outside of the shipment. Returned Packages without the RGA prominently displayed will be refused.
· Only those items listed on a return goods authorization will be accepted for return and are subject to our inspection and a 15% handling charge.
· Merchandise to be returned must be received within 30 days from the issue of the RGA.
· The credited amount on returned merchandise will be returned to customer in the same manner of payment originally used to purchase said product. No cash refund will be given against credits resulting from merchandise returns.
· Credits will be issued within 45 working days from receipt of returned goods.
· All returns must be shipped freight prepaid to SUPERIOR’s headquarters in Rancho Cucamonga CA.
Product Warranty
Effective on all sales after January 1st 2008
EVOLUTION SEARIES AXLES
Evolution series axle shafts are covered by a lifetime warranty against manufacture defects. This warranty does not cover bent axle shafts or shafts that have been modified in any way.
DISCOVERY SERIES AXLES
Discovery series axle shafts are covered by a 10 year factory warranty against manufacture defects. This warranty does not cover bent axle shafts or shafts that have been modified in any way.
PRODUCTION or REPLACMENT SERIES AXLES
Production series axles are covered by a 2 year factory warranty against manufacture defects. This warranty does not cover bent axle shafts or shafts that have been modified in any way.
SUPERIOR BRAND RING & PINIONS
Superior ring & pinion gears are covered under a 1 year factory warranty against manufacture defects.
AXLE KITS
Axle shafts in all superior axle kits fall under the above guidelines. Any bearings, seals, studs and u-joints are not covered under any warranty as they are considered ware parts.
FRONT AXLES
Front axle shafts are covered in the respective categories above with one minor exception. SUPERIOR will consider warranty of front axles with broken u-joint ears, as long as the supplied Dana Spicer 5-760 u-joint or better* is used and u-joint is installed using the supplied full circle snap rings.
*Acceptable replacement u-joints are Dana Spicer 5-760X, CTM, Ballistic Joint & Longfield Super Joint
Warranty Claims:
PRODUCT
· All warrantable products sold by SUPERIOR are warranted buy their respective manufacturers. In most cases SUPERIOR will process these warranty claims but SUPERIOR is not responsible for the approval or denial of the claim unless it is product sold under the SUPERIOR brand name.
· All warranty claims must be returned with proper RGA in order to be processed.
· All products returned to SUPERIOR for warranty inspection must be sent back at customer’s expense. If warranty is granted, SUPERIOR will only cover ground shipping on replacement product back to the customer.
· Customer may choose to punches a replacement product in the interim, while waiting for a warranty determination and request that warranty be granted in form of a credit.
LABOR CLAIMS
SUPERIOR AXLE & GEAR LLC will NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE cover labor for ANY warranty or non warranty products regardless if warranty is granted or not.
SUPERIOR reserves the right to issue warranty in form of a refund at it’s discretion .
Shipment Errors:
· Claims for any shortage or errors in shipment must be made in writing (e-mail is acceptable) within 48 hours of receipt of goods. Contact SUPERIOR’’s customer service for call tag detail.
· Product returned due to shipping error must be returned within 14 days from the date the call tag is issued and must be returned in new resalable condition or handling fees may apply.
· SUPERIOR will only cover ground freight for replacement product on incorrect shipments of products that are due to SUPERIOR’s error.
All replacement products must be paid for prior to shipment. |
