This week’s featured vehicle is a 1985 W350 Dodge Truck with the coveted Sno Commander package. The Snow Commander package is a factory snow plow option from Mopar that included a hydraulic front plow with integrated in cab plow controls. This special package was available on first generation Power Ram trucks from 1981 – 1993 and was discontinued with the 1994 model.

 

 

The Snow Commander package included standard 4 wheel drive, V8 engine, larger battery, heavy duty cooling and a special rear insignia.

This 1985 silver 1 ton Sno Commander has been restored and customized to bring it up to date. Larger wheels, tires, new paint and interior make this truck a great daily driver. It boasts a 360 cu inch (5.9 L) engine that provides 190 HP and has the heavy duty A727 automatic transmission.

 

The owner of this truck has retired the snow plow although he assures me he has restored that to perfect working condition as well.

This ride is one of my favorites and we are pleased to showcase it on our website. It is a difficult car to photograph as the car color never looks like it does in person due to the unique flip flop paint.

 

This classic 1966 Mustang has been completely restored from the ground up. It features original styled steel wheels, and a Hi-Po 289 V8 engine with Cobra kit.

 

The rear end features Superior Axle and Gear shafts, Ford 9” drop out axle assembly, Detroit locker and a Superior Axle & Gear 3.50 ratio ring and pinion set.

 

It features the premium pony interior package with real wood steering wheel, pistol grip door handles, wood grain dash, cream colored upholstery complete with embossed wild horses stampeding across the seat backs.

Upgrades include the cloth “BMW” style top with folding glass rear window, radial low profile tires, and Royal Chrome Illusion paint that changes colors from red to blue to purple depending on the light.
