Superior Gear F102410 is engineered to fit Ford 10.25 inch axle assemblies (Short Spline) machined to provide a 4.10 gear ratio. (41X10)  This ring and pinion is used on Ford Trucks manufactured from 1983 to 1992. This premium ring and pinion gear set can be used with Ford 10.5 inch axle assemblies by using a different pinion yoke available from Superior Axle and Gear.

Superior Ring and Pinion sets are manufactured from premium 8620 steel. Computer controlled machining is performed by both Gleason and Phoenix gear cutting machines. Precise heat-treating, honing and lapping is performed to provide ideal contact patterns for smoother,quieter and cooler operation with easier set up.
