James is a Marine and one of the most intense men you will ever meet, his wife Peggy is not as intense but just as passionate in her support of James. James has three of his children actively engaged in travel soccer and he coaches their teams and manages to squeeze in several practice sessions a week for each of his teams in addition to the weekly games.
As a coach he aggressively yells, prods and scolds his players into performing both individually and as a team. He clearly loves the sport and the kids he coaches. Despite the hard edge he takes with his players they know he is working to improve their play and they are not offended by his style -- In fact they actually thrive on it.
